A Mountainside Montana Wedding

A Colorful Mountain Wedding in Big Sky, Montana

Madison + Riley said “I do” on the slopes of the Madison mountain range in Big Sky, Montana, a place she grew up skiing at every winter. In August, the mountains in Montana turn a vibrant green and the air is filled with a happy warmth. Wildflower patches are in full bloom with a stunning array of colors and textures. We brought Madison’s bubbly personality to light through a preppy palette of pinks, dandelion yellow, and denim blue, but with the textures of an alpine meadow to fuse her Texan + mountain heritage. Her cheerful wildflower bouquet looked as if it were plucked from the mountainside, and contrasted brightly against the lush green slopes. Inside the lodge, wispy + wild centerpieces lined the guest tables using Mountain grown floral such as straw flower, phlox, zinnia, cosmos and foxgloves in shades of blush, peach, and buttercream. Guests dined amongst a cozy candlelight and a roaring fireplace as the air cooled outside. I loved working alongside Britt from Britt Floral Co to bring this preppy Western wedding to life.
